WHY DID YOU DEPART AT DUSK?, by
First Line: On your last journey, why did you set out at dusk?
Last Line: Of earth? -- for, unafraid, at dusk you went away.
Subject(s): Dawn; Dusk; Travel; Sunrise; Journeys; Trips

On your last journey, why did you set out at dusk?
You, who had always loved the dawn,
Ne'er venturing forth till night was gone, --
Then why, that last, last time, did you depart at dusk?

Or, in his radiant exit, did the King of Day
Inspire you with courage and gently helm
You to a fairer dawn beyond the realm
Of earth? -- for, unafraid, at dusk you went away.
