First Line: A shadowy sail upon a smooth, sweet sea
Last Line: And roseless junes.
Subject(s): Absence; Separation; Isolation

A SHADOWY sail upon a smooth, sweet sea. ...
Alas, that sail is lost for evermore!
And it hath borne thee very far from me,
Upon this shore.

Since then all days are weary Winter days,
Though blithe birds sing through shadowy Summer moons;
Since then all Springs bring unenchanted Mays
And roseless Junes.
