LOVE'S CONSCIENCE IN PRAYER, by
First Line: Horizon melts to darkness cold
Last Line: To finish endless miles.
Subject(s): Life; Love; Prayer

Horizon melts to darkness cold—
Death greets another day;
On weary knees with quivering lips,
A bleeding heart doth pray.

Ascending words form your dear name—
Bathed long with briny tears;
The lips which melted into yours
Shall pray through coming years.

They'll pray for courage and a dawn
To bear a wreath of smiles,
That will ornately crown a fear
To finish endless miles.
