Here is the haven: pain touched with soft magic:
Errands all of mercy. Here the sweet
Ministry of white hands to meet the tragic
Miracle of death, the brave defeat.

Here is the harbor, builded for the broken,
Echoing halls where gentleness has trod.
Here our eyes are blinded by a token. . .
A shaft of glory from the throne of God.
