FAULTS, by ELIZABETH JOHANNA GARDEY First Line: Have we a friend and faults has he? Last Line: There will be many friends for you and me. Subject(s): Gossip | |||
Have we a friend and faults has he? Let's not discuss them, you or me. Were he with us, not a word we'd say About him, so why, when he's away? We can find a lot to talk about. Let's keep the faults of others out Of our discussions, and soon we'll see How much happier all will be. Let's try at all times to be sincere To others, absent or be they here. If only the good in others we'll see There will be many friends for you and me. | Discover our Poem Explanations and Poet Analyses!Other Poems of Interest...THE WANDERER: 1.
