First Line: You trickle between our fingers. We scatter you with our eyes
Last Line: The moment drops like a pearl to the end of the thread.
Subject(s): Memory; Time

You trickle between our fingers. We scatter you with our eyes,
But you make us a warm cocoon, O time that flies
With our threaded memories; till before we know,
Eluding our voices, ere our movements go,
Glistening, lustrous, alive, and spirited,
The moment drops like a pearl to the end of the thread.
