MY PINE TREE, by
First Line: Vandal - scarred - still dost thou keep
Last Line: Sends, singing happily, a rivulet.
Subject(s): Pine Trees

Vandal-scarred -- still dost thou keep vigil o'er lesser, tenderer things,
Jasmine, azalea, and dainty violet.
And toward thy rugged base a near-by shadowed pool
Sends, singing happily, a rivulet.
