Can always wake up early and call me
When I have to get up
At four o'clock or five o'clock
Or any old time,
To go fishing;
Or if I have to catch a train,
To go out of town early for a football match?
How is it that she can have a warm breakfast for me to eat?
How is it that she of all the house is wide awake?
Dear, sleepless heart of my mother!
