I plunge my spoon in fragrant pulp aflush With tender salmon, an enchanting tint, Too sweet to leave -- too exquisite to crush! | Discover our Poem Explanations and Poet Analyses!Other Poems of Interest...A POET - SELF-SLAIN by JULIA BOYNTON GREEN THE BITTERN by JULIA BOYNTON GREEN THE COUNTESS GOES TO THE HUNT by JULIA BOYNTON GREEN THE OAK TORCH by JULIA BOYNTON GREEN THE MOUSE by ELIZABETH JANE COATSWORTH THE TEMERAIRE by HERMAN MELVILLE LUCIFER IN STARLIGHT by GEORGE MEREDITH THE CORAL INSECT by LYDIA HUNTLEY SIGOURNEY |
