Old moon peepin' outen de skies,
Pumpkin-heads winkin' mean little eyes,
Big moufs open, ready to bite,
Golly, I'se scairt on Hallo'een night!

Corn-shocks wavin', grabbin' at me,
Old owl a-hootin' up in de tree,
Witches flyin' on brooms all 'roun',
Dead folks comin' up outen de groun'!

Black cat walkin' across mah track,
Debbil a-chasin' me all way back.
Boy, I sho' is scairt to def,
'f I evah gets home I'll 'have mahse'f!
