THE fair Chandeliero, Cascara Sagrada Otero Bandana Chico Tortajada, Was singing one day a Seville Canzonero To Pepe Rosillo, the gallant Torero. Ohe! He lifted his glass of the bright Manzanilla, And cried to Cascara: "Chiquita Manilla, Mio Flor de Habana, you're fairer and fairer, As you dance on the Plaza the wild Habanera." Ohe! "Carramba," retorted the fair Sevilana, "My name is Cascara Sagrada Bandana, And I'll dance you my own kind of strong Seguedille, As we dance on the Plaza of sunny Seville." Ohe! Then Chico she danced by the broad Guadiana A strong Seguedill' of the roving Gitana; She danced on the table a strong Seguedille, And two Habaneras and half a Cuadrille. Ohe! And Pepe tossed off all the green Val de Penas, And forgot all his love for the fair Madrilenas: And now there are little Cascara Sagradas, Rosillos, Pepitos, Chicos Tortajadas.
