EYE HATH NOT SEEN, by
First Line: I've been to the end of the world and back
Last Line: As a dove that is free from all sin.
Subject(s): Dreams; Nightmares

I've been to the end of the world and back,
I've scaled the heights of the sky;
I have seen the wonders hid in the sea,
As deep as the mountains are high.

I've been where the feet of man never trod,
And birds never come to sing,
Where waves from the ocean break on the rocks,
And only dank sea-weeds cling.

I have dreamed of a city no eye ever saw,
But no one shall enter therein,
Unless from the body the soul shall ascend
As a dove that is free from all sin.
