[A Masque of Bigotry.] The Bluebeard of this Drama, you must know, Lived in a distant country long ago. The shameful deeds by that base wretch committed In modern times would never be permitted. Look at his beard, his beard alone would show How he hates happiness and worships woe. With Bigotry and Blue Laws through and through His soul is steeped; that's why his beard is blue.
