Now comes the pensive Lady Nicotine,
The second victim of that monster's spleen;
With Magic Leaf she charms dull Care away --
Turkish, Egyptian and Virginia.
Swish! through the air grim Bluebeard's sabre flashes:
Sweet Cigarette is dead! Peace to her ashes!
