THE JEWELS, by
First Line: This morning, after last night's rain
Last Line: They were drops of dew in a spider's web.
Subject(s): Insects; Spiders; Bugs

This morning, after last night's rain,
There were ropes of jewels 'cross my window pane.
They shimmered and shone in varied hues
From pinky orange, to purply blues.
Then one by one those bright jewels fled.
They were drops of dew in a spider's web.
