First Line: The morning mist is lifting
Last Line: In a moment with the coming of the day.

The morning mist is lifting
From the river
Running slowly to the sea;
The deep wood along its banks
Stands motionless,
Waiting for the rising sun;
The river's bend is hidden
By the green mass
Spreading onward to the sky;
From the distant line between,
A church tower
Gleaming with the first bright ray --

And all my dreams are vanished
In a moment with the coming of the day.
