ALGECIRAS SEEN OVER A STORMY SEA, by                     Poet's Biography
First Line: At ceuta I cast aside
Last Line: Yet so far to capture.
Subject(s): Algeciras (city), Spain

At Ceuta I cast aside
The saddle of my roaming,
And hoped a smoother tide
Of fortune might be coming.

My covert I did see,
Har Algeciras city;
The waves prevented me
To hunt her fawns so pretty.

As in a mirror clear
A lovely face with rapture
Is glimpsed so near, so near,
Yet so far to capture.
