IN THE OLD STONE AGE: A DEARLY BOUGHT VICTORY, by
First Line: Mid raucous cheers the hunters bore
Last Line: The forbears of our aryan race!
Subject(s): Animals; Hunting; Wilderness; Hunters

'Mid raucous cheers the hunters bore
The carcass of that awesome beast,
Whose slaying cost the tribe a score
Of wounded and six deaths, at least.
By camp-fire o'er and o'er was told
The story of that thrilling chase,
By those heroic men of old—
The forbears of our Aryan race!
