THE MUTES IN LIFE'S CHORUS, by                     Poet's Biography
First Line: Not all the chorus sing: to swell their number
Last Line: None live but those who have the means of living.

NOT all the chorus sing: to swell their number
Some two or three stand by, no utterance giving.
And so with men: the ground full many cumber:
None live but those who have the means of living.
