First Line: My son is growing tall
Last Line: He was a little thing.
Subject(s): Children; Growth; Sons; Childhood

My son is growing tall;
He boasts of larrigans,
And now can hang his coat
Securely on the wall.
He likes the ice and snow,
And begs for shoe-skates like
The bigger boys. He'll grow,
He says. He's learned to play
The violin and sing, --
Only a day ago
He was a little thing.
