YOUTH THAT NEVER DIES, by
First Line: O fleeting youth that never dies
Last Line: O fleeting youth that never dies?
Subject(s): Youth

O fleeting youth that never dies,
Impatient that time seems too slow,
Your spirit lightly vaults the skies,
Nor marvels at earth's overthrow.

For you the roses bud and blow,
O fleeting youth that never dies,
Young Juliet and Romeo
Immortal in love's tender guise.

You garner life with sun-filled eyes
That set the commonplace aglow.
O fleeting youth that never dies,
What magic secret do you know?

You find the end of each rainbow,
Possess the gold without surprise --
Who would not keep you always so,
O fleeting youth that never dies?
