I am a child of the universe.
Like the trees and the stars
I have a right to be here.
And whatever I seek to do
In this noisy confusion of life
I will keep peace in my soul,
I will be cheerful,
I will strive to be happy,
I will go from the crowd
For a while, and think --
Remembering the peace there is
In silence.
