REMEMBERED THINGS, by
First Line: A rose-hued dawn
Last Line: The comradeship of one I held most dear.
Subject(s): Friendship; Memory; Nature; Nostalgia

A rose-hued dawn,
A tree with blossoms sweet,
A bird's song wafted on the breeze,
A dew-gemmed carpet at my feet;
The sky-blue water of a brooding lake,
A glow of sunset in its depth so clear,
A lilt of childish laughter, high and sweet,
The comradeship of one I held most dear.
