To you I turn in time of stress And sue, dear love, for that caress Whose subtle art doth vanquish care And change the gloom of cold despair To fragrant bloom and sunniness. If fortune brings to me success I cannot wholly acquiesce Until, with heart as light as air, To you I turn.
