First Line: For you the night is beautiful with stars
Last Line: The darkness, so I dare not touch your hand.

For you the night is beautiful with stars;
You have not lost the trail of meteors.

But darkness gives me all its mist for tears,
And all the darker memories of years.

You must not see ghosts nor understand
The darkness, so I dare not touch your hand.
