When her little baby frets and cries, The tender-hearted Mrs. Rue Just wrings her hands, and heaves great sighs, "Boo-hoo-hoo-o-o!" And -- she cries, too! There they sit and cry together, And oh! there's a spell of rainy weather! When her little baby frets and cries, The tender-hearted Mrs. True Just laughs with her mouth, and smiles with her eyes, -- "Cock-adoo-doo-o-o!" And -- baby laughs, too!
