THE FINAL CONFLAGRATION, by
First Line: "verily, verily that day shall come"
Last Line: "this done, who shattered all, shall all restore"
Subject(s): Judgment Day; End Of The World;doomsday;fall Of Man

VERILY, verily that day shall come
That rounds the sum of worldly destinies.
Then shall the gold-browed empyrean rend
His crammed repository. Flame, long-stored,
In fury shall consume the face of the earth
And the hung heavens; till, the whole being spent,
Deep-hollowed ocean shall be seen no more,
No more the earth, her last foundations fled,
And no bird float upon the burning air.
This done, who shattered all, shall all restore.
