A FLAKE OF FOAM, by LAVINIA R. CLARK First Line: In the seething foam I am tossed on the height of the waves Last Line: Oh! The turquoise sky that I love! Subject(s): Bubbles; Sea; Water; Ocean | ||||||||
In the seething foam I am tossed on the height of the waves. The sea is grey and dark, rising in great swells, Spray is tossed in the cutting wind, A flake of foam am I. I feel the depth of the sea under me And am part of it Part of the might of the troubled grey ocean, Soon to flash deep blue in the sun.
