First Line: Do you remember, long ago
Last Line: With chains I cannot break so soon as you.

Do you remember, long ago,
When as a child you bound me fast
With daisy-chains, and would not let me go?

O daisies, you are dead, 'tis true,
But still I'm bound as fast to-day,
With chains I cannot break so soon as you.
