DESTINY, by
First Line: Together in youth
Last Line: Too late -- it was you!
Subject(s): Fate; Regret; Destiny

Together in youth
so joyous,
drunken with love;
how glorious . . .
then the veil lifted.
I saw you and fled
love dying -- then dead.

Life now was fuller,
more splendid . . .
you I forgot
and intended . . .
then memories recalled:
I sought love and knew
too late -- it was you!
