LIVING, by
First Line: Heart-strings are delicately strung
Last Line: In solitude's caress.
Subject(s): Solitude; Loneliness

Heart-strings are delicately strung
Across the years we live,
Harmonizing when songs are sung,
Vibrating with love we give.
The tones are harsh if touched with grief
Re-echoing bitterness
When "pent-up" finds relief
In solitude's caress.
